Need Period Relief?. Check Out My Hacks Below
- Remember to take your multivitamins. I like taking the Nature Made Multi For Her Vitamins because they contain vitamins like Vitamin E, Magnesium, Zinc, and Iron that help relieve pain from the muscles that cause you to cramp.
- Get up and move around. It can be as simple as doing a light workout. Or a simple walk around your neighborhood.
- Drink warm water to help relax the muscles that cause you to cramp – especially if you’re opposed to taking aspirin or over-the-counter pain relievers.
- Use a heating pad or pouch to relieve cramping. You can easily purchase it from Amazon, Target, or any other retail store.
- Take a pain reliever if water or multivitamins do not work. For me, I prefer Advil or ibuprofen if my cramps get too bad.
- Avoid or limit your intake of salty foods, which can cause you to bloat more – so anything fried or greasy fits in that category.
- Stay hydrated to help reduce bloating and pain from cramps – I recommend drinking at least eight glasses or a gallon.
- Give yourself an abdominal massage to help with bloating.
