Whether you are leaving work or want a small bite to eat, you can never go wrong with Happy Hour. So, a few months ago, when I still worked at Starbucks, I walked over to the Cheesecake Factory after work. Once I got there, which was only a 5 to 10-minute walk from the job, I took the escalator to the second floor. To be seated by the hostess.
Seated, I took a look over the menu. Being the indecisive person I am, it took me a minute to figure out my order. But after talking to my server and giving it some thought, I had a decision. For my happy hour meal, I ordered two appetizers.
The first was the crispy fried cheese, a recommendation by my server. And the second was fried zucchini.
My thoughts on my appetizers during happy hour.
Crispy Fried Cheese
My first impression of the crispy fried cheese was good.Crispy on the outside and cheesy on the inside, every bite was mouth-watering, and the cheese was moist. Which made me think of mozzarella sticks but with a better flavor.
Fried Zucchini.
Crispy and fresh tasting, the zucchini was good, including the ranch dressing that comes with the dish.
Every time I dipped a piece of zucchini in the dressing, it gave off a zesty and refreshing flavor. But overall, it was tasty for my first time trying it at the Cheesecake Factory.
In conclusion…
I give my meal a rating of 4 out of 5 stars. The server was attentive, pleasant, and funny. So, if you live in Philadelphia or are here visiting, check out the Cheesecake Factory in Center City and ask for Eric G.
Other than that, leave comments below about my meal because I would love to know your go-to dish or meal for happy hour. And until my next blog post, thanks for reading, and have a good day, everyone. Toodles!
